And thanks, Larry, for the URL. It's saving me some 4 hours of wait time to download the release. It's downloading now.
No problem. I was actually trying to find a usable torrent when I stumbled on that repo.
Indeed. You can use this PR crap on the punters in the street but those who read/write in/to the oS mail lists and who have been using oS for many years shouldn't have to be told "cannot tell you what the URL is; I've been sworn to keep it secret." And this without even mentioning that my ISP - the second BIGGEST ISP in Australia (or so it claims)! - who is listed as a MIRROR to opensuse doesn't even have 12.3 in it's list of directories! With the official release to take place in less than 2 1/2 hours my time!
I've taken a back seat to a lot of this. Just got called into work earlier that planned(16 hour shift now) so I just don't have time. Ah well. 12.3 should be a good test of my new 1TB Samsung laptop drive in my Thinkpad T60p :-) 110MB/s reads! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
