Makes a mockery of that crap about Release Time 1200 UTC and "cannot tell you what the URL is; I've been sworn to keep it secret', and other similar statements" :-( . And thanks, Larry, for the URL. It's saving me some 4 hours of wait time to download the release. It's downloading now. Thanks again. BC -----Original Message----- Indeed, and even working on IPv6. Indeed. You can use this PR crap on the punters in the street but those who read/write in/to the oS mail lists and who have been using oS for many years shouldn't have to be told "cannot tell you what the URL is; I've been sworn to keep it secret." And this without even mentioning that my ISP - the second BIGGEST ISP in Australia (or so it claims)! - who is listed as a MIRROR to opensuse doesn't even have 12.3 in it's list of directories! With the official release to take place in less than 2 1/2 hours my time! No problem. I was actually trying to find a usable torrent when I stumbled on that repo.

I've taken a back seat to a lot of this. Just got called into work earlier that planned(16 hour shift now) so I just don't have time. Ah well. 12.3 should be a good test of my new 1TB Samsung laptop drive in my Thinkpad T60p :-) 110MB/s reads! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I'm also downloading both the i586 and x86_64 versions via IPv6. They should be done in a couple of hours. BTW, the openSUSE site has been IPv6 capable for quite a while. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The new opensuse must be hitting them - I'm only getting 500kb/s right now, peaking at 700 and dropping to 200 occasionally. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (-4.8°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
