I have downloaded and burned CDs 3 times. As it is a FTP
installation, CD only loads up the some kernel modules and load up RAM
drive directly from FTP server ( I use mirror.ac.uk and tried other
mirrors as well). I tried both in my office and at home. I am pretty
sure it's not network issue. The error says Media Error, but the
actual media source of the installation is FTP server.
Anyone has an experience with direct FTP installation? Please give me a tip!

I've personally had this problem a number of times. It's always been due to a badly burned Cd or DVD. I now habitually burn at a lower speed than is rated for the disk. You could also try cleaning the disk burner lens. If that all fails try a different brand of disk.
