I'm trying to mount the Windows ME fs. When I goto ready /windows/C no files or directories are seen?
here's the line in my /etc/fstab
/dev/hda2 /windows/C vfat rw,user,noauto,umask=000 0 0
That looks basically ok - what EXACTLY are you doing in order to try to mount the fs?

All I'm trying todo is when I boot up the /etc/fstab file willl look in the file and automatically mount the fs...
/dev/hda2 /windows/C vfat rw,user,noauto,umask=000 0 0
Is this line incorrect in the /etc/fstab ?
In that case, you need to change noauto to auto. See the manpage for /etc/fstab for more info - type: man fstab in a terminal window Dylan -- "Sweet moderation Heart of this nation Desert us not, we are Between the wars"
