Hi John, Though I have heared other opinions, I don't use the default pentium optimized kernel on my 500 MHz Athlon box, because it didn't like it. You can check on your own, I'd like to know too if you can boot the default pentium optimized kernel; for reasons mentioned above I upgraded to 2.4.7 with the 386 version. So tell me your results!
