What was the reason/explanation?
The explanation was to CHECK with 'zypper dup', NOT to exec an upgrade with it. Which is waht I did.
'zypper ve' reports a problem. Why is that problem being reported, and what do you do to FIX it?
I can think of a number of reasons why, the most obvious being that you have an inconsistency and an update OR a de-install would remove that inconsistency.
A RTFM makes it very clear: <quote> verify (ve) [options] Check whether dependencies of installed packages are satisfied.
In case that any dependency problems are found, zypper suggests packages to install or remove to fix them. </quote>
So you're suggesting I should REMOVE Dolphin? Since 'zypper up' reports Nothing to do. too, that's the only other option. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
