By an odd coincidence, I decided to try Kinkatta for the first time this afternoon. After discovering that Ait couldn't log in, I thought maybe AOL had blocked it (it's happened with IM services in the past) and thought I"d get and compile the most recent, which I did indeed do. However, as of 4:00 CST or so, inspite of the fact that I see there's a new plugin framework, proving that there's been work done on the client, it still couldn't log on. Did he fix it in the last couple of hours, and is it working for anyone? At 05:14 PM 1/16/2002 -0800, you wrote:
Just an FYI.
Ben Meyer just posted Kinkatta 1.0.1 which fixes the login problem. You can go to kinkatta.sourceforge.net and download it from CVS..it works just fine once compiled. Follow the instructions on the page. It's simple to get compiled and working.
Cheers!
