If you got a decent internet connection then getting it to function in a fairly useable manner is easy (or it was for me once i got round the freakin ATI crap) all i did was boot into runlevel 3 ie init 3 on the grub options line while booting, Then login as root and run "zypper up" now there are folks out there that are going to say dont ect ect ect all i ca say is it fixed the multiple problems i had .
