I get ln: /dev/ttyACM0: File exists. Seems like every suggestion runs into a blank wall. This worked when I done it with /dev/usb/ttyACM0, but KPPP still did not work. Could not open /dev/ttyACM0. I know /dev/ttyACM0 is correct because I can use kinternet and dial, but only get 64k connection, not 128k connection. Have a netgear rt338 ethernet ISDN modem router ordered.
The command should be "ln -s /dev/ttyACM0 /dev/modem" to link the modem to the right port. I seem to remember a recent post about the 64K vs 128K connection. Something about changing a 1 to a 4 in some config file. There was a SDB article about it, you may want to either search the database or the mail archives. -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
