From David Erdman to suse-linux-e@suse.com about [SLE] kde headers missing?:
Hi all. I am trying to compile quanta from a tar.gz. WHen I ./configure, i get the following error message. (I looked on deja, but couldn't find a remedy)
checking for Qt... libraries /usr/lib/qt2//lib, headers /usr/lib/qt2//include checking if Qt compiles without flags... no checking for moc... /usr/lib/qt2//bin/moc checking for uic... /usr/lib/qt2//bin/uic checking for rpath... yes checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix!
And what was the prefix you have chosen? there's probably some configure flag like --kde-dir= (./configure --help to see what the real flag is) Put /opt/kde2 after the = hth,
any ideas?
