Hi all. I am trying to compile quanta from a tar.gz. WHen I ./configure, i get the following error message. (I looked on deja, but couldn't find a remedy) checking for Qt... libraries /usr/lib/qt2//lib, headers /usr/lib/qt2//include checking if Qt compiles without flags... no checking for moc... /usr/lib/qt2//bin/moc checking for uic... /usr/lib/qt2//bin/uic checking for rpath... yes checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix! any ideas?

And what was the prefix you have chosen? there's probably some configure flag like --kde-dir= (./configure --help to see what the real flag is) Put /opt/kde2 after the = hth,
any ideas?

thanks. the problem is that when I looked into the configure file (I am also getting the error with the new koffice beta3), I see that it is looking at /opt/kde2.....so could it be some sort of path issue i need to set? On Monday 25 June 2001 03:37 am, dieter wrote:

It's best to have /opt/kde2/bin in your path, but I don't think that's the issue here. The last thing I could think of is also using a --with-kde-includes= sort of flag. (pointed to /opt/kde2/include)
