Is it confirmed that they took their NT TCP/IP stack from FreeBSD, or is this just a rumour? What is the source for it? And if they did, wouldn't this be allowed under the FreeBSD license?
Nobody besides M$ itself can _confirm_ where they took TCP/IP stack but I have read reports of bugs in M$ stack which were the same as in the original BSD implementation. The answer to the second question is positive, the FreeBSD license does allow this. -Kastus
