On my 12.2 KDE box I am planning to use a virtual product and after findingseveral help sites on howto install e.g virtualbox I started wondering aboutthe availability of a virtualbox in Yast. Why should I go to the Oracle website as suggested in a howto, if Yast offersme an installation. Is it not complete and do I need anything else? Went to Yast and installed virtualbox with the idea that openSUSE would giveme a workable piece of software. But now I am stuck as I have no idea how tobegin. Where is the documentation for the Suse virtualbox?
Install virtualbox, virtualbox-qt, and DKMS. Reboot. Run VirtualBox, note capitalization. If you need help, click the help icon and it will pull up the documentation. I moved a virtual hard drive from an Ubuntu box that used the Oracle package to OpenSuSE box with OpenSuSE packages. Worked fine.
