well, the real answer should be to understand how it's possible to add the "add to the taskbar" in the launcher menu setting

There are two ways I can see to get an icon on the taskbar: 1. drag it with the mouse from the launcher menu 2. start the application, then select the option "create a starter" (or similar, I'm not running the English user interface) Option (1) does not work with the "Application Dashboard" launcher "menu", but then the Application Launcher does show an appropriate context menu entry. Actually, once the application has been started, the "starter" will behave like any other icon in the window bar; there will not be a separate "click me to start application X" icon. It's just that after the last instance of the application has terminated, there will be an icon left for quick access. So, not sure if adding the "add to taskbar" to the launcher menu setting will bring such a big benefit. Just my € 0.02 Andreas -- Time flies like an arrow.
