I'm one step away from having a almost perfect stabel kernel. I'm noticing however when I boot with my standard 2.4.18 or ..20 kernel I get a message referencing TIOCGDEV not recognised or something to that effect. I imagine this is some service making a call for a kernel module that I forgot to compile. Anyone know what this is.
I get that too with my home-rolled kernel. I think SuSE has some patch in it's kernel which is used by one of the boot scripts. I just ignore it. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
