Hi Nick,
I need to go through a ton of files and delete a bunch of useless crud ;). I was using xfm for this task, but the one included with SuSE 7.2 seems to be buggy (crashes when trying to delete a directory). Is there another good filemanager out there, one that doesn't require KDE or Gnome, please?
Hmm... have you tried mc? Yes, it's a CLI, but IMO, it's the second best file manager for Linux only behind Konqueror. BTW, as I have mentioned before it wouldn't be too hard to setup your WM-based X session to work well with KDE apps - and then you could enjoy the "ultimate" file manager. ;-) Other than that, maybe you should checkout TKDesk, I think that looks kinda nice too... -Tim -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R.
