Hello Stan
Never did find the jpost video link you sent so I don't know about that.
I did however go to the iba site and was able to open any and all of the videos and watch and play them. When first clicking on a selection a box came up and stated that I needed the microsoft plug in "click here" to download it, OR "click here to view the content directly in your video player" When clicked on, they would open with xine and they played beautifully. On some of the longer ones you had to wait for the buffering though.
This is true. I goofed. Actually, I had done as you did, with another source, but the simple trick slipped my mind yesterday, because too many things were going on at the same time. It does NOT work, however, with the jpost videos, as verified by Charles Chan, who says he has told the developers of MPlayer about the fact. You didn't find the video link on that site? The easy one to find is on the front page, just under the large photograph near the top of the page. You have to click on "JPost videos". Or you could do CTRL-F to search for "video". That brings up some extraneous occurences in the little frames at the sides, but if you do "Next" a few times, you get to the right one.

PS You even have the Simpson's in hebrew, huh? :-)
I'm not sure (I don't have a TV) if they put in a Hebrew soundtrack or if there are subtitles. But I am pretty sure it would not be on any of the iba networks, but on cable and satellite providers. But why would Hebrew audio be surprising? Homer is not the dullard that many think him to be; Bart can get away with an occasional "Ay, caramba", and Lisa can function in many languages. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
