Aeh, da ist dir wohl bei der Kernelconfig bzw. in /etc/lilo.conf ein wenig durcheinander bekommen. Du versuchst /dev/sg7 bzw. ein nicht zugewiesenes Geraet zu mounten. Denn device 21:07 <==> Major 21, minor 7. Und das ist: Aus /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt: 21 char Generic SCSI access 0 = /dev/sg0 First generic SCSI device 1 = /dev/sg1 Second generic SCSI device ... Most distributions name these /dev/sga, /dev/sgb...; this sets an unnecessary limit of 26 SCSI devices in Was fuer Hardware hast du? IDE? SCSI? Wie sieht die lilo.conf aus? Wie hast du den Kernel konfiguriert (IDE/SCSI/Filesystems)?? CU David -- 7. Release early. Release often. And listen to your customers. --- Eric S.
