I think so, and my worry is that the election has officially started yesterday already..   Can the board or the Election Committee double check that the approval process is running? Some friends and I have not received an  answer and we applied several days ago. Also I met someone who claims that it's been 3 weeks now since he's applied.    As I said to someone in the Telegram group, I don't think opensuse needs to have people telling reddit, youtube and podcasts how funny the elections would be, with applications stuck for month and only "send an email / raise an issue / ask someone else " solutions.   Sorry English is not my mother tongue.   Thank you for an answer Hi

I can assure that membership approval process is running, but its not as fast as you might have expected. Please bear in mind that: * all membership comitee members are volunteers, with other things to * its not uncommon that membership comitee does nota immediately agree on application, especially when stated contributions are difficult to verify, which sadly is pretty common Cheers Martin
