The only packages I'm really looking to get updated in "generic" openSUSE (11.4 and beyond) are the PostgreSQL database packages. 9.0 was released a couple months ago and the last time I looked, PostgreSQL 9.0.1 was the stable release. I found 9.0 in one of the database repos, but I'd really like to see 9.0.1 make it into 11.4 if at all possible.
Is 9.0.1 in openSUSE:Factory at the moment? I only see 8.4.4 right now. Go poke the postgresql packages about this issue, I can't update Tumbleweed before the packages are in Factory at the very least.
sorry,
greg k-h
9.0.0 is in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Application:/Geo:/Postgres84PostGI.... 9.0.1 isn't anywhere as far as I know, but there should be no difference between the build process in OBS between the two. I installed 9.0.0 from that repo a couple minutes ago but haven't done any testing yet. I've got to write some Perl code to test it out, so it may be a couple of days.
Again, the packages need to be in Factory before they can go into Tumbleweed. Please work with the developers to get them included there, as there is nothing I can do with getting them into Tumbleweed before that happens. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
