No entry about SCSI? When booting out of MacOS, I had sometimes problems when enabling DMA. No Problems when starting Linux at Boot-time.
No, the system doesn't even really boot. That first set of messages I copied is from before the tux icon and the kernel messages start. As for SCSI, I tried adding "noscsi" to the BootX command line with v10.2, but it didn't work. On my machine, the kernel will sometimes panic when trying to initialize the MESH controller. Since I don't use any external devices on this unit, it doesn't need to be on. How is your Wallstreet configured?
There's only one ins32 AFAIK.
What I found interesting is that the v10.2 files are initrd and linux32.gz, but the v10.3 files are initrd.gz and linux32. Don't think that it makes a difference. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+help@opensuse.org
