No, the system doesn't even really boot. That first set of messages I copied is from before the tux icon and the kernel messages start. As for SCSI, I tried adding "noscsi" to the BootX command line with v10.2, but it didn't work. On my machine, the kernel will sometimes panic when trying to initialize the MESH controller. Since I don't use any external devices on this unit, it doesn't need to be on.
How is your Wallstreet configured?
Nothing special, 256 MByte RAM, a bigger HD (30 GByte, but I've also installed on a 4 GByte HD). I've increased Ramdisc sice in BootX at installation tim to 12 MByte (12288) and used "video=atyfb:vmode:14,cmode:32" as kernel parameter and enabled "Force video settings". -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+help@opensuse.org
