I am trying to update a couple of mingw32 and mingw64 packages from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32/openSUSE_Fa…
and
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win64/openSUSE_Fa…
When I try to update my installed packages to those in this
repository, I get this complaint:
nothing provides libfl.so.2()(64bit) needed by
mingw32-cross-binutils-2.28-5.2.x86_64
[ ] deinstallation of mingw32-cross-binutils-2.28-5.1.x86_64
[ ] keep obsolete mingw32-cross-binutils-2.28-5.1.x86_64
[ ] break mingw32-cross-binutils-2.28-5.2.x86_64 by ignoring some
of its dependencies
Both the 32- and 64-bit repos make a similar complaint.
A couple of questions:
1) How to find out why this is happening.
2) Which option might I try to complete the installation?
3) I am installing this on a Leap 42.3 system. It seems more packages
are available for Factory than for Leap 42.3. That aside, which
repository would be best? In the past I have used Factory and it
worked fine. But that was because my openSUSE was so old that
release-specific repos for MinGW no longer existed.
