I would like to raise the issue that the KDE repositories (KDF and KR49) are currently being maintained by a lower number of people than was indicated. In other words, lately most of the packaging work and supporting KDF/KR49 was done just by me.
Looking forward than I won't be able to spend that much time anymore on supporting KDE within openSUSE and therefore I would like to call for volunteers that would like to support the KDE desktop within openSUSE and doing the packaging, bugfixing, etc.
Since KR49 was actively maintained, I wonder what happend when packaging moved to KDF instead of KR49? Is it a matter of people not knowing who does what and what help is needed? I use KR49 and the webgui for OBS. Thus I cannot do anything related to updating links. I tried to update packages like calligra in the past but uploading such large tarballs is a pain with my internet connection. And the webgui does still not support to download tarballs and use them as proper source, i.e. they are not listed as file but service… in the sources section. Hence those submits are declined.
