I intentionally avoided checking that box. As I said, I'm ok with authenticating once **per session**. I just don't want to have to do it with every sent message, when I'm writing many messages per setting. Some browsers and e-mail programs have provision for holding a password in temporary storage (RAM) and applying it whenever needed **for the current session**. Then it evaporates when you exit.
