Hi,
There are some things we need to get done before we can call Milestone 6 Beta:
- kpat is 4.7.0 - 11.4 artwork needs to go. Unless of course the artwork says this will stay
for the final.
- systemd still has several issues on the live cd and first boot after
installation
- there are still 22 build failures in openSUSE:Factory:Staging:DtNeeded,
we'll revert the patch in binutils I guess.
- we have no kernel-xen - several kmps do not build: ndiswrapper, omnibook, vmpware-guest, xen,
xtables-addons
This is just what came to my mind, I bet there is more if you start looking into bugzilla.
Greetings, Stephan
Is the problem I have with LibreOffice ( see my post "Libreoffice 3.3 in M5 stops X from reacting" from 5 Sept). a candidate?
No, that's a typical bug beta that happens in betas. But do you have a bug nummer associated for it? If so, we can start with filling most_annoying bugs right away. But make sure to test the devel project - libreoffice saw an update since M5.
