I intend to go on upgrading the Tumbleweed machine.
It will get confused when 11.4 is released.
That's why I asked. I know that the repos need to be changed.
And that it needs to be done in a certain time window :)
At what point do I need to change YaST to point to 11.4 repos?
When 11.4 is released.
When that happens on Thursday, I will delete all of the packages from the current openSUSE:Tumbleweed repositories, and point the base at 11.4, and start all over.
So the next thing to do would be to disable Tumbleweed repo, change the rest to 11.4 and zypper dup.
Yes.
This could even be done right now, after all, according to Andreas Jaeger "11.4 is finished".
Hm, are the 11.4 repos populated? I haven't looked yet...
Then once there are packages in Tumbleweed again, enable it again.
Yes.
BTW the Tumbleweed kernel is beyond 11.4 now.
It is for the moment, but not for long :)
Apparently you knew better :) 11.4 is ahead again :)
I guess it would be good for both to have the same kernel version at the time Tumbleweed gets changed from 11.3 to 11.4
