set vlc backend, was gstreamer. no difference
I had problems with sound - a second or two's delay on attention warnings, followed on a later update by no sound at all - so resorted to my usual trick and disabled PulseAudio. Logged off and on and the sound worked fine. No saying whether that will work with your hardware but it might be worth a try.
Success, but I do not know why. I added to ~/.bashrc: export KMIX_PULSEAUDIO_DISABLE=1 logged out and back in no sound removed export line from ~/.bashrc logged out and back in I now have sound and controlled by pulseaudio. go figure :^))) tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
