It's a known bug of PulseAudio 2.1. Upgrading to PA 3.0 should fix it. The upgrade to PA 3.0 has been in the devel project (multimedia:libs) since over a month ago, but it wasn't merged to 12.3.
And was submitted to Factory on Jan 25, way deep into feature freeze, without an introduction mail to the list why this should be considered for 12.3, as coolo requested multiple time to be done for exception handling. PA update from 2.1 to 3.0 at this stage requires VERY good reasoning I guess.. it's not just a 2.1 to 2.1.0.1 jump... (not that the version number would mean anything...)
Just grab pulseaudio 3.0 from OBS multimedia:libs.
So that will be the official statement for after the 12.3 release? I surely hope this is NOT what we are aiming for! If we do, we should just cancel the distribution and agree that we are not willing to produce quality dists.
