I'm investigating why, I'll post here if I'll find something interesting for the community
It seems that starting the kernel with acpi=off it works. I'm installing the new kernel too see if it helps
I've resolved installing the kernel 2.6.25.4-7-default and doing the following: cd /usr/src/linux make mrproper make cloneconfig make modules_prepare make clean /usr/share/ati/fglrx-uninstall.sh sax2 -a sh /var/tmp/ati-driver-installer-8-5-x86.x86_64.run ldconfig aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf init 3 sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx modprobe fglrx Now it works well I hope this can help others. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
