[opensuse-buildservice] Deps unresolvable, but correct repo configured

Hello, I branched a package and try to build it for Leap 42.3 (yes, it's old, I know). So, I set as target openSUSE_Leap_42.3 and configured the standard and update repo for 42.3 for that target. But some packages can't be found and I don't know why. The missing packages are the defaults for 42.3 and should be at the 42.3 standard repo. Are there any logs to understand this? It appears that from some point onwards, all Debian_Testing builds fail due to the 'mount', 'mkdir', 'mkswap' and 'swapon' binaries being linked against libpcre2, while only libpcre3 is installed: ... [opensuse-buildservice] OBS target customisation question

Hi experts, I tried to search the mailing list and had a quick look at the documentation but I could not find a clear answer. I’m currently building packages using target Debian 10 / buster, I managed to build deb dependencies packages successfully from genuine Debian 10/Buster target and I must admit that the process is quite straightforward. (I was used to work with Launchpad … :-) ) But now I have the following question: 1- I’m building a package on Buster (Debian 10) 2- The package I want to build use a package in Debian/experimental So I added in /etc/apt/sources.list the lines: ... deb http://ftp.crihan.fr/debian experimental main deb-src http://ftp.crihan.fr/debian experimental main … 3- In order to avoid repository conflict I added in /etc/apt/preferences the lines: (The src deb is grpc package) Package: libgrpc++-dev Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 Package: libgrpc++1 Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 Package: libgrpc-dev Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 Package: libgrpc7 Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 Package: protobuf-compiler-grpc Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 Package: python-grpcio Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 800 4- Then I update the distribution repository apt-get update 5- Finally: install the packages from experimental. … apt-get install libgrpc++-dev ... Etc. Do you know how to « reproducers » this in OBS ? For now I’m using only OBS web GUI, for learning sake I’ll switch to ocs command line interface when I’ll get more familiar to the whole system. One solution would be to rebuild experimental packages from Debian 10/Buster but building grpc is not a trivial operation... I’m fairly new to OBS, so apology in advance if this question has been answered previously. In that case I’d love to get any pointer to the doc or mailing list thread that would help me accomplish this… Thanks ! [opensuse-buildservice] Repository publishing broken on b.o.o ?

Hi, I recently noticed some strange discrepancy of the downloadable packages that were created after building: The size/checksum of the rpm file on download.opensuse.org does not match the metadata that is recorded in the repository's primary.xml.gz E.g: When downloading https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_29/x86_64/e… The resulting size is 622240 bytes and the sha256sum is eb77ce147162cd3ab9a997e31b865b3e22f7457327f12eac202e6b54210a4547 However in the corresponding https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_29/repodata… The size is recorded as 622248 and the sha256 as 11524992b6ca3bc8f2bc0b7f82c0c3875c1c9ca3f87e8b9072cce2bff2331466 Obviously, dnf complains when attempting to install or update the package. I rebuilt the affected packages, but this did not help. Any clues? [opensuse-buildservice] prioritizing workers for a specific architecture

I there a way to give an arch a higher priority in the scheduler for a specific build host? For example: if there are a bunch of x86_64 packages to build, and also a bunch of i386 packages, force all x86_64 packages to finish before the i386 packages are considered for building. Olaf

Hello List, I've been trying to debug a random issue that is causing a lot of headache and is blocking my automated scripts. I need some packages from this project but these are not build for tumbleweed and some packages are not named correctly.
