Setting the time using ntpd does not seem to work when using NetworkManager to configure my ethernet device.
sounds like bug #207079
I suspect that the device is not setup when ntpd is started. However, restarting ntpd later when the network is running does not correct the system time.
an restart of the deamon after the network is up do not correct the time? can you send me the output of "ntpq -c pe"?

I am not sure if ntp was running directly after startup (can this be affected by the ntpq command?).

I hope that this command where I forgot to type "pe" does not affect the next results.
