You're right, of course. I confused the module rt61pci (which is part of the rt2x00 project) with the driver package rt61 (which is based on the stuff from Ralink). In that case, the reasons why it does not work are different. It works fine with NetworkManager (at least WPA and WPA2-EAP). But I was unable to connect to an hidden network (tried with AP_SCAN=1 and AP_SCAN=2). It is fixed in the 10.3 update kernel, so it should work now. Hence, resolving as FIXED. However, throughput is totally ridiculous, maxing out at 85 KB/s - in a setup where RaLink's own driver achieves more than 2 MB/s.
