Thanks for the info! I currently learned that the Linksys PCI card only works
reliable with ndiswrapper, if the router is explicitly set to IEEE 802.11b .
All other modes like 'mixed' or '802.11g' will just lead to a situation where
the wlan devices see each other, but they won't connect via DHCP.
I didn't try this with the original driver, though - because this was getting
on my nerves - maybe this helps others to solve this.
I currently hope, that kernel 2.4.24 will work with this out-of-the-box with
the next openSUSE 11.
