Well, not enough. Andy (in comment #10) may have a different issue, as Xen is
not mentioned in the initial bugreport (and from the list of network interfaces
it doesn't look like Xen is used). There is no packet sent nor received through
the eth0 interface; given the fact both eth0 and eth2 seem to have a static IP
address and they are on the same subnet it may just be routing
misconfiguration. Also, the description about "blocked" network traffic
suggests rather routing configuration problems than kernel problem.
The only interesting information from the log is that eth0 has no link.
Unless I know what the reporter means by "blocked traffic" I cannot do
anything. To be more clear about what I need to know:
1. remove all USB network adapters and ensure that the broadcom adapter has a
cable connected
2. reboot the computer
3. as a root, run "rcnetwork down"
4. run "ifconfig eth0 134.147.110.101 netmask 255.255.255.128"
5. run "route add default gw YOUR_DEFAULT_GW_IP_ADDRESS" (substitute
YOUR_DEFAULT_GW_IP_ADDRESS for your default gateway IP address)
6. attach outputs of "ifconfig -a", "route -n" and "iptables -L" commands
7. start "tcpdump -ni eth0" (you'll need to install tcpdump first) and let it
run
8. on another console, run "ping -n YOUR_DEFAULT_GW_IP_ADDRESS"
9. let both commands (from 7. and 8.) run for ten seconds or so and attach
their full outputs
10. run "ifconfig -a" command again and attach its output
