This bug (or a variation of it) also seems to appear with patches, not just
upgrades. On openSuSE 11.0 (with opensuseupdater, not kupdateapplet), I
currently have two "recommended updates" showing, one for fileshareset
(summary: kdebase3: Collective updatre, New Version: 124), and one for
kdenetwork3-InstantMessanger (Summary: Chash fixes in Kopete GroupWise, New
Version: 235).
When I select these patches in opensuseupdater, I am asked for root password,
but installation does not happen, after a few seconds I again get "new software
is available".
zypper.log shows that there is a dependency conflict for the patches (so I
guess it's the same problem as discussed in this bug, opensuseupdater-kde does
not handle these replies by the call to zypper).
There are currently no upgrades shown as available, so the problem doesn't seem
to come from an interference between these two.
I am not sure whether I should report this as a new bug, or what to do with it,
I thought maybe this is the best place to discuss the issue (sorry if it's
not).
Is there a way to install these patches with YaST in 11.0?
