Have you tried to leave the wireless enabled before the suspend? The function key enables / disables both, bluetooth and wireless lan. I could try to unload the bluetooth module and keep the wireless lan enabled.
Please try to do that.
What machine is this? Fujitsu Lifebook A530
Also, does it matter whether or not there is a suspend-resume (suspend-to-RAM) cycle before hibernation? I will test this in detail. I know that after reboot this problem exists and also after several suspend / resumes if I forgot to disable bluetooth / wireless then (kernel 11.4 standard to stable 3.0.7).
I have to add that it is not clear in which state the system is after a non-successful resume. Now I got back to KDE, but with oops messages. The system is not that stable then. I could capture dmesg output for this case, see attached file.
