--- Comment #23 from Myroslava Dzikovska 2007-10-31 19:53:51 MST ---
I am experiencing the same problem on a i686 system. This is a Sony Vaio PCG
V505DP laptop, kernel 'pcmdzikovs 2.6.22.9-0.4-default #1 SMP 2007/10/05
21:32:04 UTC i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux' I am running opensuse 10.3 with all the
latest updates installed.
I have random processes go into uninterruptible sleep (kio_http, kio_imaps,
konsole, klines) -- a process log is attached. This makes KDE refuse to shut
down, and, what is worse, it makes the system shut down uncleanly. The system
goes through all the normal stages without any error messages, gets to the
point of unmounting the file systems and then says
oops - cannot umount /: device or resource busy
After a reboot a large number of transactions need to be replayed by ReiserFS.
