I have the impression that booting with intel_idle.max_cstate=0 or idle=nomwait
are the same. Both seem to "stumble" a bit (like short pauses of not even a
second, but "feelable"), with both the passphrase prompt appears, and after a
second or two a message about a bluetooth problem appears (before I entered the
passphrase).
With the 4.1. kernel booting is very smooth and incredibly fast.
Yes, I have the nvidia driver installed, using suse-prime, because if not, the
system will only use the intel graphics and leave my beautiful nvidia card
disregarded (I need strong graphics for my work...)
I don't know exactly what suse-prime does, but without that I cannot use the
nvidia drivers on 4.1 kernel neither. For the suse-prime I needed to have the
kernel sources and other things (comes all automagically with the install of
suse-prime). Of course I have done nothing alike with the 4.4 kernel...
