Thanks. I think I had another recent report from Thailand about this.
I'm not sure though.
Unfortunately, https://features.opensuse.org/?rm=feature_show&id=305320
is not implemented yet. It would allow to find out much easier about
slow mirrors.
I would like to ask you for some things.
There new mirror lists, which I deployed just today. Look here:
http://mirrors.opensuse.org/
As you see, we have a single mirror in Thailand, mirror.in.th.
Thus, you get redirected to it for all the content that it has.
But what are you downloading? 11.0 repo, updates, of buildservice?
Is this mirror slow for you?
When you download stuff from the build service, which mirror would work
faster for you? Could you look at
http://mirrors.opensuse.org/list/bs.html and try some please? And let me
know the results? It is possible that I can implement a better choice
then.
And, there is another potential mirror:
http://mirror1.ku.ac.th/opensuse/, hosted by Kasetsart University,
Bangkok, http://www.ku.ac.th/.
Would that one work?
With that one, I have a problem; i cannot scan it, because the HTML is
unparsable for our scanner, right now. I could probably fix it. However,
it would be even better to be able to scan the mirror over FTP or rsync.
However, they don't seem to have FTP or rsync running. I tried to
contact them but even though I tried hard, I could not find a contact
address. Could you have a quick look if you find one? Maybe it is a
little easier for you.
Thanks!
