ok, I think I know whats going on, just not why. It appears that on that
machine you install kernel-default which doesn't have PAE support. Not sure
why, but when you install xen it installs kernel-xen and kernel-xenpae. If you
look at the grub menu you will notice one mentions xenpae and the other
doesn't.
My guess is that when you install xen you are install both kernel-xen and
kernel-xenpae. If you were to uninstall kernel-xenpae this would probably go
away.
How exactly are you install xen? Are you choosing the kernel-xen*?
