https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=267798 Summary: opensuse 10.2 hangs completely without warning Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: cedric.diau@airliquide.com QAContact: qa@suse.de IBM NetVista 8304-82G Pentium 4 (2.66GHz 512KB) Memory - 768MB DDR Video adapters - Integrated Intel 845G I've upgraded my Suse 9.3 to opensuse 10.2 from a downloaded DVD ISO. Everything seems to run reasonably well, apart from the fact that occasionally, the whole installation hangs completely and will not accept any input (mouse, keyboard). The only way to resolve the matter is to switch off power, and switch on again. I use Gnome as desktop environment. I used a nfs mounted home, I've changed for a local home but it's still the same. I've saw on www.suseforums.net that some other peoples have the same problem. I'll try to update my BIOS and I'll see on what occurs but without conviction.
