The client should be able to cope with the port numbers changing.
If it doesn't get a reply, it will check with portmap, find the new
port number, and talk to that port.
Have you have experiences of the client hanging? How long did it hang for?
A few seconds? minutes? forever?
What OS was the client running?
Nevertheless it would be good to be able to set the port numbers easily.
I would prefer that something were done in /etc/modprobe.d to make sure it
happened whenever the lockd module was loaded.
I'll look into this for 11.2 (It is too late for 11.1 I believe).
rquotad is managed separately from nfs and lockd (as part of the 'quota'
package). Probably it would be best to raise a separate report for that.
