--- Comment #33 from Andreas Hartmann 2011-01-18 11:45:36 UTC ---
Sorry - I'm a little late :-)
I've got a few crypted lvm-volumes. One of these is /var.
Furthermore, I'm running some virtual machines with libvirt / kvm. Libvirtd is
started by loading of the vm manually:
virsh start vm.
ps -ef | grep libvirtd
virt0 31270 1 0 12:23 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/libvirtd --timeout=30
Before the host gets rebooted (or switched off), the vm's are manually stopped
with
virsh shutdown vm.
After the qemu-processes disappeared, the host can be shutdown or rebooted.
During the shutdown / reboot, a term / kill is send to all running processes.
Afterwards, the crypted volumes get unmounted. Now, the problem appears:
lsof
..
libvirtd 6448 virt0 mem REG 253,20 217016 164197
/var/run/nscd/passwd
..
-> /var can't be unmounted, because one of the libvirtd-Processes is still
running - although it should be already terminated!
