https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209394 mfabian@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|WONTFIX | ------- Comment #2 from mfabian@novell.com 2006-10-11 09:01 MST ------- Xnest supports rendering of CID keyed fonts the same way the regular X-server does. I guess you don't have any of the CID-keyed font packages installed. What you list with 'ls' in your initial comment is probably just an empty directory structure without any fonts in it. If you install some of these packages CID-keyed-fonts-MOE-20021114-216 CID-keyed-fonts-Munhwa-20021114-216 CID-keyed-fonts-WadaH-20021114-216 CID-keyed-fonts-Wada-20021114-216 (plus the package "ghostscript-cjk" which is required by the above packages) and run "SuSEconfig --module fonts" afterwards, you should have something in these directories and it should work. For example, xfd -fn -adobe-munhwa-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso10646-1 -display :2 will then display something (Xnest started using display :2 in this example). Unfortunately the rendering of CID keyed fonts is currently broken in X11, it will display something but it doesn't look right. All glyphs are mirrord and many pixels are missing. See the screen shot which I will attach in the next comment. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
