After the vpn-connection has been disconnected, I can no more access my local LAN-network since dhclient (version isc-dhclient-V3.1.2p1) is not able to overwrite resolv.conf. When executing dhclient, I obtain the usual output and no error-message that indicates that dhclient was not able to rewrite resolv.conf. A reboot does not help (Why should it anyway...) A workaround is to manually delete the file resolv.conf. Then an execution of dhclient creates a new resolv.conf that works with my network. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.execute "vpnc /etc/vpnc/vpnc.conf" as root 2.execute "dhclient" as root 3. Actual Results: dhclient can no more overwrite /etc/resolv.conf.
