I didn't install the kernel-smp... This is a single processor and has two gigs
of Ram. My understanding is the bigsmp processor shouldn't be installed with
this criteria. To me it looks like it is the kernel-xenpae when I look at the
menu.lst

As far as how I installed the OS I did the following.
I did an install and chose gnome as the default. However I did add the kde
packages. I did not add the xen components during the installation. After
installing the OS I decided to put the xen pattern on. I went into the software
management module and choose the xen pattern. Then I rebooted and had two Xen
items in the menu. That is all I did.
