We're nearly at the end of Umbrella sprint. I have some claritification questions, though. People who I think will know the answer are in brackets, but others can of course respond as well.
We decided that {build,software,wiki,planet}.o.o theming will be the official part of the sprint
* planet was redesigned by Pascal (clap!, clap!, clap!) * it seems that wiki is already using bento theme as default, great too!
* when we'll deploy stage version of software.o.o as default or what is blocking from it ? (coolo) * what is the state of bento webui for OBS? last time I heard we're waiting for ACK from adrian... (coolo)
We declared that {news,lizards,spotlight}.o.o will be themed later, as a part of another sprint, because bento-wordpress theme is not ready for primetime yet.
* what is the state of the theme? how can we test or help? (rlihm)
Once these questions are answered, we should write a blogpost that will summarize the sprint and the results of it. Are there any volunteers? If not, I can try to recap it, but I'll be busy with LinuxWochen until end of the week.
So we learned from other mails that we have two release dates fix which is may 17th for OBS beta and june 1st for the new wiki. So we won't do a "theme release", e.g. one day where we pull off the cover from all servers. That does not really matter, but we really should do good fuzz around the bento theme. Why we did it, why it is more user friendly, how we integrate all infrastructure and why that is good, the benefit for unexperienced and experienced users and so on and on. I guess Robert can talk a lot of it, please involve him. Would be good if you guys could work together on it. I can also help if needed.
