Hi all! We're nearly at the end of Umbrella sprint. I have some claritification questions, though. People who I think will know the answer are in brackets, but others can of course respond as well. We decided that {build,software,wiki,planet}.o.o theming will be the official part of the sprint * planet was redesigned by Pascal (clap!, clap!, clap!) * it seems that wiki is already using bento theme as default, great too! * when we'll deploy stage version of software.o.o as default or what is blocking from it ? (coolo) * what is the state of bento webui for OBS? last time I heard we're waiting for ACK from adrian... (coolo) We declared that {news,lizards,spotlight}.o.o will be themed later, as a part of another sprint, because bento-wordpress theme is not ready for primetime yet. * what is the state of the theme? how can we test or help? (rlihm) Once these questions are answered, we should write a blogpost that will summarize the sprint and the results of it. Are there any volunteers? If not, I can try to recap it, but I'll be busy with LinuxWochen until end of the week. -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o openSUSE Boosters Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9, CR prusnak[at]suse.cz http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org

* when we'll deploy stage version of software.o.o as default or what is blocking from it ? (coolo) There is a huge performance problem with the search stats I added, that killed stage these days. I need to fix that - other than that, Robert wanted to clean up the styling and had it in his work report the last 2 weeks, but I have no status updates - and I would like to deploy it once for real.
* what is the state of bento webui for OBS? last time I heard we're waiting for ACK from adrian... (coolo) Sorry, if there was no update outside of the BS mailing list: we plan to switch OBS to 2.0 beta on may, 17th - including bento.

We switched wiki.opensuse.org which is the upcoming new wiki instance to bento fluid yesterday. I am working on style issues, and the planned release date for the new wiki is june 1st. We will see depending of the progress on the content side if this release date can be met. Greetings

So we learned from other mails that we have two release dates fix which is may 17th for OBS beta and june 1st for the new wiki. So we won't do a "theme release", e.g. one day where we pull off the cover from all servers. That does not really matter, but we really should do good fuzz around the bento theme. Why we did it, why it is more user friendly, how we integrate all infrastructure and why that is good, the benefit for unexperienced and experienced users and so on and on. I guess Robert can talk a lot of it, please involve him. Would be good if you guys could work together on it. I can also help if needed. I think the theme is in a ... releasable status. If somebody find a browser specific bug, we can fix it on-the-fly. Maybe there are some problems with the fluid version. I guess others played around with it more then me. I have also a Wordpress-Theme ready, but I don't know now if I have access to the test Wordpress we have. But it should work :-) So far, Robert
