I don't think that identi.ca is the solution. We should very descriptive in our status reports and blog/communicate outside (e.g. news.o.o) as much as possible.
I don't understand what's so bad about identi.ca. It's read by a lot of potential contributors. We could use it for lightweight visibilty of what we do and use a link to our group page in status reports. Nothing is bad about identi.ca. But I also do not consider it as "the solution" to the problem that we're still to little visible.
I think we have to try to fill all available pipes: Mailinglists, Twitter, Identi.ca, Blogs, talks, public showups, etc pp. The thing is: Everybody has to do it. Each of us can and should pick the ways to communicate he likes and use it, use it a lot. We do not do it enough yet. regards, Klaas -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
